MetroAccess driver accused of sexually assaulting passenger

WASHINGTON – A MetroAccess driver has been arrested after being accused of sexully assaulting a passenger on board a MetroAccess vehicle.

Metro Transit police have charged 50-year-old Ezra Porter of Upper Marlboro with first degree sexual assault for allegedly stopping the vehicle last Friday and making inappropriate sexual contact with the adult female victim, before taking her home.

Family members called Metro Transit police to report the assault.

Porter is employed by MV Transportation which provides MetroAccess service under a contract that ends June 30.

Metro requires MV Transportation to screen all employees.
