WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, March 27, beginning at 11 p.m. weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close one lane in each direction of Interstate 95 near exit 166, or the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286).

This will lead to a full stoppage of I-95 traffic after midnight in both directions for 30 minutes. This closure is to allow Dominion Power to install new overhead electrical lines.

The district’s homeland security department also reports that there will be multiple openings of the drawbridge portion of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge for testing purposes on Wednesday night, starting at 10 p.m.
