Flight out of National airport diverted to Dulles

WASHINGTON – An American Airlines flight made an unscheduled landing at Washington Dulles International airport after being diverted, according to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

Flight 1491 took off from Reagan National Airport headed for Dallas. The flight took off just after 1 p.m. It landed safely at Dulles Airport.

An Airline spokesman says a pressure indicator warning went on and the pilot decided to make the unscheduled landing. But the cabin never lost pressure.

There were 125 passengers and five on board the McDonnel Douglas Super 80.
