18-year-old shot and killed in Lewisdale

WASHINGTON – Prince George’s County police are looking for a gold or tan Toyota in connection with a Thursday shooting that killed an 18-year-old Lewisdale man.

Detectives say the four-door Toyota Corolla has Maryland tags. They believe the shooting suspects exited the car and approached Meyder Bladimir Yuman as he was walking along 24th Avenue.

Yuman was shot during a confrontation with the suspect, police say.

Detectives have not identified the suspects or a motive in the case.

WASHINGTON – An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Lewisdale, Md., Thursday, Prince George’s County police say.

Police say officers responding to the 7200 block of 24th Avenue at about 7 p.m. found Meyder Bladimir Yuman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Yuman, of the 2200 block of Lewisdale Drive in Lewisdale, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Detectives are working to identify suspects in the case. Anyone with information can call police at 301-772-4925.
