WASHINGTON – Job seekers may have a lot of company this year.

A new survey by Glassdoor.com finds many employees are saying they will look for a new job sometime this year.

Out of more than 2,200 employees across the country, one in three workers said they will start searching for a job in less than one year, as long as the economy stays the same or improves.

One in five workers said they hope to find a new job in the first three months of this year.

What motivates people to look for a better opportunity?

The survey found 73 percent are looking for a better salary, 55 percent are motivated by a better location or commute and 30 percent are seeking career growth.
