Teens steal Rolex watches from Alexandria jeweler (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Alexandria police are looking for two teens who stole three Rolex watches worth more than $37,000 from King’s Jewelry.

The two suspects, both males in their late teens, entered the store on King Street about 10 a.m. Sept. 6. They smashed display cases using hammers they hid in their jackets, and then stole the watches, police say.

An employee who heard the noise chased the suspects from the store, police say. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Both suspects are in their late teens, about 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall, with medium builds. One was wearing jeans and a blue, hooded jacket with a Helly Hansen logo on the front chest. The second was wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt with an astronaut logo on the front.

Alexandria police have shared the surveillance video of the larceny:

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Loren King at 703-746-6689.
