WASHINGTON – The young woman known on the Internet for her seemingly impromptu crooning at a Philippine mall karaoke machine is actually an industrious online performer.
Video footage of Zendee Rose Tenerefe singing a Whitney Houston ballad at the SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines seems to show a random shopper who seizes the opportunity to demonstrate her vocal skills to the assembled crowd. In reality, Tenerefe has an active YouTube channel and even appeared on talent show “X Factor.”
