Explosive demolition exercises will be loud in Loudoun Co,

WASHINGTON — If you hear loud booms and rumblings near the Chantilly Crushed
Stone quarry in Loudoun County Thursday, relax.

From 8 a.m. until noon Thursday, bomb technicians from the Virginia State Police
will conduct explosive demolition exercises and training at the quarry on U.S.

State police say there is no reason to be alarmed or to call 911 if you hear the
booms.
