WASHINGTON – Tonight at the Birchmere, Grammy-nominated Dailey and Vincent are scheduled to perform.
The bluegrass duo’s single “Steel Drivin’ Man” spent three consecutive months at the No. 1 spot on the bluegrass chart earlier this year.
Tonight at the 9:30 Club, indie rock vets Built to Spill are scheduled to play an early show beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday at the Black Cat, Atlanta-based indie-rockers Black Lips are scheduled to perform.
The group is also screening the documentary “Kids Like You and Me,” about their recent tour of the Middle East. The film, which documents the band’s travels to Egypt, Iraq and more, will be shown tonight at the E Street Cinema.
Sunday at the U Street Music Hall, Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. is scheduled to perform with his band.
Sebadoh has recently released their first album in 14 years and is scheduled to turn a set Sunday night at the Black Cat.
