Woman says she was raped at Wilson Aquatic Center

WASHINGTON – A woman says she was raped at the Wilson Aquatic Center during an after-hours party, ABC7 reports.

The woman’s family tells ABC7 that the Prince William County woman was attacked and sexually assaulted Monday night in the locker room of the public pool, located north of the Tenleytown Metro.

The pool facility was closed all day Tuesday as D.C. police investigated the allegations.

The victim’s uncle tells ABC7 that his 22-year-old niece and a girlfriend were at the pool after hours to party with two men her friend knew from Facebook.

After the assault, the victim was driven home to Woodbridge. She was robbed and kicked out of the car, half-clothed.

The victim is being treated for neck and hand injuries, her family says.
