Girl sexually assaulted in D.C., police seek suspect

WASHINGTON – D.C. police say a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted while walking in Northwest Monday afternoon.

Detectives say the teenager was walking at 11th and Clifton streets around 4 p.m. when a man pulled his car over at the intersection and forced her into the vehicle. Detectives say she was assaulted inside the car.

The suspect is described as having a thick build with hair braids. He was driving a black SUV and had a Jamaican accent, police say.
