A new concept for the area, Del Frisco’s Grille, will take over the space that has been vacant for some time due to the closing of Les Halles in D.C.
Del Frisco’s will occupy 8,468 square feet at 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW. The concept comes out of Dallas and is the slightly more casual cousin to the full Del Frisco’s steakhouse, which has several locations including a high-profile one in New York. There are Del Frisco’s Grille locations in New York and Dallas.
The restaurant will likely open by next summer. You can get a sense of their menu on the website, which features such items as ahi tuna tacos, flatbreads, steaks and comfort food dishes.
Bill Miller and Alex Walker of Transwestern Retail represented the tenant, while John Asadoorian of Asadoorian Retail Solutions worked with the landlord, Sentinel.
