Fairfax County Parkway: Would HOV or HOT relieve congestion?

With the Fairfax County Parkway carrying nearly as much traffic as an interstate highway, one county supervisor thinks the state should study the possibility of widening the parkway to add High Occupancy Vehicle lanes or High Occupancy Toll lanes.

New traffic lights, sidewalks coming to parts of Arlington

The Arlington County Board approved several construction projects Saturday, including new traffic signals and street lights. They also approved a price hike for the Ballston Public Parking Garage.
