Local astronauts, dogs and marching band members prepare for inaugural parade

Nearly 3,000 groups applied to perform in the 2013 presidential inaugural parade on Monday -- more than twice the number that applied to march in President Barack Obama's first inaugural parade. From that number, four local groups got a bid to march.

Pennsylvania Ave. joins list of endangered spaces

Washington's Pennsylvania Avenue, sometimes called "America's Main Street," is being listed among the nation's endangered landscapes because of neglect and deferred maintenance by the National Park Service.

D.C. 295 NB Pennsylvania Ave. ramp work zone location changes

After an extremely difficult Friday rush hour, the new ongoing work zone which was blocking 1 turning lane onto DC 295 NB from Pennsylvania Ave/Sousa Bridge, is now on the ramp itself.
