Md. seeks federal disaster declaration for Sandy

The state of Maryland is asking President Barack Obama to declare a major disaster in the state due to damage from Superstorm Sandy.

The state's congressional delegation sent the president a letter Wednesday supporting Gov. Martin O'Malley's Nov. 8 request.
