Temporary stoppage on I-95 in Fairfax County, Wilson Bridge openings Wednesday night

On Wednesday, March 27, beginning at 11 p.m. weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close one lane in each direction of Interstate 95 near exit 166, or the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286).

Overnight full lane closures on I-495 for Feb. 5

There will be intermittent full lane closures on the Outer Loop of the Beltway at Route 7 Leesburg Pike at Exit 47. The closures could last up to 30 minutes at a time.

Road closures for Annual High Heel Race

The rescheduled 26th Annual High Heel Race will take place Thursday night in the Dupont Circle area. Road closures begin at 6:30 p.m., and all roads are expected to be reopened by 11 p.m.

Emergency work on Military Road could impact morning rush

Military Road will be closed in both directions at 42nd St. NW just west of Reno Road between 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. This closure is not related to the on-going work zone on Military Road at Nebraska Ave.
