Prince George’s man arrested in fatal DC stabbing

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Prince George’s County man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a District of Columbia woman over the weekend.

Metropolitan police said Monday that detectives arrested 35-year-old Mark Kenyetta Bowser Jr. of Capitol Heights, Maryland on Sunday.

He was charged with murder in the stabbing death of 39-year-old Tracy Womack. She was killed around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the District’s Southeast.

No attorney was listed for Bower in court records.
