At least for Hexagon -- Washington's Only Original Political Satirical Musical Comedy Revue!! Hexagon's show this year: "I Get No Kick from Campaign!" will be at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring. March 9-24th. Hexagon selected Hospice Caring, Inc. as this year's beneficiary.

In observance of Black History Month, the Vietnam Memorial Fund (VVMF) has been highlighting the great contributions African American Servicemen and Women made to the Vietnam War. Including a video featuring Brigadier General George Price, USA (Ret.), telling the story of Captain Riley Pitts, the first African American officer to receive the Medal of Honor.
Even though the nominations for the Helen Hayes Awards have just been announced there is already a DC Theatre company celebrating a win! TheatreWashington Chairman Victor Shargai announced the recipient of the John Aniello Award for Outstanding Emerging Theatre Company.

The Capital City Diner, housed in a silver diner car on Bladensburg Road in Northeast, closed this January, citing rising costs, a declining economy and competition from the new Denny's a few blocks away.

Raising money and awareness about Writopia Lab a non-profit organization that holds after-school, weekend, and summer creative writing workshops for kids ages 8 to 18. And Reach Incorporated which hires and trains older students to tutor younger students.
