Trying to carry a tune to save children!

Members of the DC media, politicians and philanthropists who have been politely told that they really can sing will do so at the 5th Annual Childhelp Capitol CAREaoke Wednesday, April 18th. Cocktails 6:30, Public Humiliation 7:30. But it is to help end child abuse. Last year, in the DC region alone, 5,000 calls were made to the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-4-A-CHILD. Rebecca Cooper, anchor of ABC7's "Washington Business Report" and Wes Johnson, "voice" of the Washington Capitals will MC. Caps & Wizards owner Ted Leonis is one of the business leaders who promises to sing. The special "ringer" guest will be American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.
