WALDORF, Md. (AP) - Rep. Steny Hoyer is getting into the holiday spirit.
The No. 2 Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to deliver toys to children in need on Friday in Waldorf.
Hoyer will make the delivery to the Charles County Children's Aid Society. The organization is holding its annual Christmas Connection, which helps provide Christmas toys and gifts to children.
In the afternoon, Hoyer is scheduled to join seniors in Prince George's County for a holiday event hosted by Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt.
