WALDORF, Md. - One person was injured after a commuter bus collided with a passenger car in Waldorf Monday.
Maryland State Police received a call around 6:15 p.m. about a crash on Mattawoman Beantown Road (Md. Route 5).
Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department Chief J.R. Hayden says the driver of the car, 20-year-old Carlin Biles, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital.
The bus driver was also transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was blocked in both directions on Mattawoman Beantown Road for around an hour. As of 7:20 p.m., drivers are able to move through the accident scene.
