WALDORF, Md. - Because of the Code Red air quality alert, VanGo in Charles County is free Friday.

Passengers will get an all-day pass when they board and it will be good until the end of service Friday night.

VanGO buses cover the Waldorf, St. Charles, La Plata, Indian Head, Charlotte Hall, Newburg, and Nanjemoy areas.
