CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. - Four people were pulled from the Chesapeake Bay after their boat capsized Friday.
Maryland Natural Resources Police say the 28-foot boat capsized around noon near Breezy Point Beach. Two people were rescued by private boats, the other two by the fire department.
The Calvert County Fire Department pulled the people from the water and taken to a local hospital.
Calvert County Assistant Fire Chief Orval Thrasher says the people were in the water for a "considerable amount of time."
There has been no word on their condition.
