U.S. to pull out of Afghanistan by 2013

WASHINGTON – The U.S. plan to pull out of Afghanistan — I talked about on today on WTOP’s morning show with Mike and Bruce.

KUWAIT – The British are planning to start a mission in Somalia targeting extremists. The Kuwait New Agency is reporting, “Britain’s Foreign Secretary William Hague Thursday called for a stepping up of the fight against Somali-based terrorism as he became the first British foreign secretary to visit the war-torn state for 20 years.”

WASHINGTON – “Al Qaida: The End in Sight”. I talked with FOX 5 in Washington about the slow death of Al Qaida.

ISLAMABAD – The News Online is reporting that Pakistan’s Supreme Court “PM Gilani To Be Indicted in Contempt Cases” Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will be for contempt because he’s refused to pursue corruption charges against President Asif Ali Zardari.
