Sneak peek of new Maryland State Police chopper

Take a look at Maryland's new AgustaWestland 139 with WTOP's David Burd and pilot Simon Wilks.
This helicopter can go up to 180 mph while the other goes 160 to 170 mph, according to pilot Simon Wilks. Speed is the name of the game when it comes to Medivac, Wilks says. A crew of four operates the AW139, which has autopilot capacity. (WTOP/David Burd)
The AW139 has three lenses: infrared, wide angle and narrow angle. Ten choppers are set to come to Maryland State Police and the AW139 is one of two that police have in their possession and can use right now. (WTOP/David Burd)
