St. Patrick’s Day food and booze guide

P.J. Clarke's Happy hour starts at 2:45 p.m. Monday and goes through closing. Don't miss a pipe and drum performance from the D.C. Fire Department's Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps, all day corned beef and cabbage with Irish soda bread and Irish stew specials, plus food and drink specials: $5 Jameson, Guinness; and P.J.'s Irish Coffee and $5 bar bites including corned beef spring rolls; mini shepherd pie; and Bailey's cheesecake for dessert.

P.J.'s will be raffling off a $1,884 bar tab in honor of its founding year. Purchase a commemorative P.J. Clarke's St. Patrick's Day T-shirt for $10 to enter.

The Brixton The Brixton will host a St. Patrick's Day fete on featuring the band, Black Masala, and food and cocktail specials. The band goes on at 7 p.m. and there's no cover.
