The Harvey GirlsThe Harvey Girls (1946): Co-starring Angela Lansbury, who was fresh off two Oscar nominations for Gaslight (1944) and The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945). Also features the famous footwork of Cyd Charisse and Ray Bolger, who played the Scarecrow in "Oz."
Summer StockSummer Stock (1950): The 50s belonged to Gene Kelly musicals, and while "Summer Stock" was not on par with "An American in Paris" (1951) and "Singin' in the Rain" (1952), it's always fun seeing him share the screen with Garland.
The Good Old SummertimeThe Good Old Summertime (1949): A remake of "The Shop Around the Corner" (1940), which later became "You've Got Mail." Features silent film legend Buster Keaton a year before his cameo in "Sunset Boulevard".
Meet Me in St. LouisMeet Me in St. Louis (1944): Legendary musical, introduced the song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," as well as hits like "Meet Me in St. Louis" and "The Trolley Song." This was the film where Garland fell for director Vincente Minnelli, whom she soon married and had Liza Minnelli. Minnelli calls it her favorite movie because it brought her parents together.
