Wednesday - 6/25/2014, 9:46am  ET

WASHINGTON -- The Horseshoe Baltimore Casino in Baltimore isn't open yet, but it will be a stop for the World Series of Poker.

The tourney will stop at the casino from Feb. 26 through March 9, the Baltimore Business Journal reports.

It's the first time Maryland has been on the poker tour.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. owns the World Series of Poker and the new casino, which is set to open in August.

Buy-ins for the games range from $365 to $1,675. The winner will get a berth in the World Series of Poker Circuit National Championship, The Washington Post reports.

The top 100 players qualifying for the national circuit will have the chance to win $1 million next May.

The TV show that gives people a chance to play with the pros, "Poker Night in America," also will film at Maryland Live! in Hanover, Maryland.
