Woman arrested after Baltimore hit-and-run kills 2

BALTIMORE (AP) — Police in Baltimore have made an arrest in a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman and toddler.

Police say they arrested 28-year-old Lucresha Mints of Baltimore late Wednesday. Police say Mints hit and killed a 25-year-old woman and a 2-year-old with her car in the area of Franklin and Monroe streets just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. Police say family members told them the hit-and-run followed an argument and that Mints knew her victims.

Twenty-five-year-old Latoya Skipwith and 2-year-old as Joshua Carter Jr. were killed in the crash.

Mints is charged with first- and second-degree murder and numerous other offenses. She is being held without bail.

Online court records do not list an attorney for Mints.
