BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course will try to break the world record for the largest Zumba class.
WJZ-TV (http://cbsloc.al/1ecYeWz ) says the fitness class will be held on May 16 as part of a health and fitness festival that will include 100 women-owned businesses. The current Zumba record was set in India in September 2012. That class had 6,671 participants.
Tickets are $40 and proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen Maryland. The event is sponsored by Lifebridge Health Sinai Hospital.
May 16 is a Friday and the day before the race course will host the Preakness.
