NEWARK, Del. - Delaware State Police say a Baltimore man was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving failed to negotiate a curve on an Interstate 95 ramp and fell over.
It happened about 11:45 a.m. Monday in Newark. Troopers say 36-year-old Leon Morris was driving the rig off 1-95 at South College Avenue when it failed to negotiate a curve.
Police say the tractor-trailer fell on its side and became wedged in a guardrail.
Morris, who was trapped in the cab of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
