Bryant, Jacksonville move past Stetson 30-7

DELAND, Fla. (AP) — Ulysses Bryant had 228 total yards with a rushing touchdown and Jacksonville handled Stetson 30-7 on Saturday night for its sixth straight win.

Bryant had 109 yards on 20 carries and added five receptions for 119 yards. His 2-yard touchdown run helped Jacksonville (6-1, 5-0 Pioneer) move out to a 20-0 halftime lead.

Dallas Jackson intercepted a Ryan Tentler pass and returned it 39 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, fueling a stout defensive effort for the Dolphins. Jacksonville overcame six turnovers and held the Hatters (2-5, 0-3) to 187 total yards.

Brandon Behr’s third field goal made it 23-0 and Frantz Caudio scored on a 7-yard run with 10:36 left.

Kade Bell had 332 yards on 26-of-40 passing, but threw four interceptions and lost a fumble. His third pick set up Stetson’s only touchdown, a 22-yard score from Tentler to Mike Yonker in the third quarter.
