White, Davis lead South Florida over Tulsa 38-30

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Mike White threw three unanswered touchdown passes to Andre Davis in the second half and South Florida overcame a 20-point deficit to defeat Tulsa 38-30 on Saturday.

White and Davis connected twice on 15-yard TD catches. For their third strike, White faked a screen to the left, and then hit Davis in stride at the 50 and he ran untouched for an 85-yard touchdown to give the Bulls their first lead, 35-30, with 6:13 remaining. After Tulsa lost 7 yards and punted on its next series, South Florida answered with Marvin Kloss kicking a 28-yard field goal to stretch the lead to 38-30 with 2:33 left. Tulsa’s last drive stalled at its own 33.

Marlon Mack added 130 yards rushing and two touchdowns for South Florida (3-4, 2-1 American).

Dane Evans threw for 314 yards and a touchdown to lead Tulsa (1-6, 1-2).
