GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Pittsburgh's first Atlantic Coast Conference game will come in prime time on Labor Day.
The ACC released its composite football schedule Monday.
It includes five nationally televised Thursday night games and two Friday night games, plus its annual Labor Day matchup -- which this year sends defending league champion Florida State to Pitt.
The ACC's other new addition this year -- Syracuse -- plays its first conference game Oct. 5 at home against Clemson.
The season begins Aug. 29 with two games, including North Carolina's first visit to South Carolina since 1990.
With seven teams now in each division, each team's eight-game conference schedule includes games against each team in its division and two games against teams from the opposite division -- one permanent crossover rival, and one rotating opponent.
