Adding more heart to baseball
Right after the Washington National's & Boston Red Sox exhibition game at National's Park Tuesday April 3rd. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team comprised of veterans and active duty service members who have lost limbs while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan will take on the DC Celebrity All Stars such as DC Mayor Vince Gray; Jack Evans, D.C. council member for Ward 2; NFL Hall of Famer Darrell Green of the Washington Redskins; David Gregory, moderator for "Meet the Press"; Johnny Holiday, co-host for MASN's Nats Xtra; Dave Jageler and Charlie Slowes, radio play-by-play announcers for the Washington Nationals to mention but a few.
