The historic reconstruction of George Washington's Distillery spawned more than just the 1st President's Rye Whiskey, there is also a new book. "Founding Spirits: George Washington and the Beginnings of the American Whiskey Industry" has been written by Dennis J. Pogue,PhD, Vice President for Preservation at George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate, Museum and Gardens. Where there is free admission on Monday Presidents' Day.
