Slavery is alive in the USA
And it is the subject of a new exhibit at President Lincoln's Cottage at the Soldiers Home where the Emancipation Proclamation took form 150 years ago. The exhibit titled: "Can You Walk Away? Modern Slavery Human Trafficking in the United States" was created in concert with Polaris Project, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking.
