MILLERSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police have arrested a man they say committed nine smash-and-grab burglaries at small businesses throughout the county.
Fifty-four-year-old David Holland of Glen Burnie was arrested last month after a burglary at a liquor store in Deale. After an investigation, Holland was charged in nine smash-and-grab burglaries that have occurred since July.
Police say Holland would break into the small businesses during the overnight hours by using a tire iron to smash out the front door glass of businesses. Officers say Holland would take money from the business and drive away.
