ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A man charged with attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend failed to show up at his trial, and police are looking for him.
Thirty-nine-year-old LaJaune McCoy did not show up at a hearing in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court on Tuesday. His public defender said his client indicated he would not appear at trial.
The Capital of Annapolis ( http://bit.ly/IsnuGw) reports that McCoy was charged in September with attempted second-degree murder and other offenses and was released after posting $300,000 bond.
Authorities say McCoy, upset that contractors were in his ex-girlfriend's house, beat her and choked her until she passed out.
