ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Prosecutors have dropped nine charges, including first- degree murder, against a Glen Burnie teenager in a fatal shooting during a botched robbery of a convenience store.
The Capital of Annapolis ( http://bit.ly/OX4yUX) reports that prosecutors said Tuesday that they lacked physical evidence in the case against 19-year-old Shawn Johnson in the 2010 slaying of 48-year-old Youssef Attia at a 7-Eleven in Glen Burnie.
Earlier this month, Johnson was sentenced to 50 years in prison for his involvement in the armed robbery of Mr. Wings & Pizza that led to the death of 20-year-old Misael Flores.
