GAMBRILLS, Md. - A chain-reaction crash in Anne Arundel County sent seven people to the hospital this weekend.
County authorities say two girls tried to cross northbound Route 3 in Gambrills on Sunday when one of them was struck by a car. Investigators say the car that hit the 15-year-old girl stopped, and another car slammed into the back of it.
In total, seven people were injured in the crash and sent to area hospitals. One person refused treatment at the scene.
County police are investigating the crash.
