WASHINGTON - A subcontractor for Baltimore Gas and Electric was killed Wednesday afternoon while working on power lines in Anne Arundel County.
The fire department says the 39-year-old Davis H. Elliot Electrical employee was working on the on the 400 block of West Bay Front Road in Tracy's Landing around 3 p.m. when he came in contact with live lines while 30 to 35 feet in the air.
His co-workers were able to bring him down with a bucket truck and started CPR. Firefighters continued CPR, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says the medical examiner and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health were called to the scene.
The man's identity has not been released.
