BETTERTON, Md. - Authorities say they have recovered the body of a boater who jumped into the Chesapeake Bay to go swimming and did not resurface.
Maryland Natural Resources police identified the man as 21-year-old Brandon Greene of Edgewood. A statement from the agency Monday night says Greene's body was taken to the chief medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
Police say that over the weekend he jumped feet-first into the water about a half-mile west of Howell Point in Kent County.
