LEESBURG, Va. - It's innocent fun - a kid selling lemonade on a hot day. But investigators say one child's customer had more than a cold drink on his mind.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's office says a 13-year-old girl was selling lemonade from a stand in Leesburg last month when a man stopped by several times to buy some. He also gave the girl his first name and phone number and asked her to call him.
The girl's father contacted the sheriff's department, and officers arrested 42-year-old Hugo Callejas of Leesburg. He's charged with soliciting a minor for sex. Now, investigators are trying to find out if Callejas has approached other children. They're asking anyone with information to contact them.
Anyone who may know someone who was approached by Callejas is asked to call 571-258-3126. Authorities say Callejas may have been driving a white GMC work van with a ladder rack on top or a copper-colored Nissan Armada at the time of contact.
