FREDERICK, Md. - An endurance competition is expected to bring more than 20,000 people to the Frederick area this weekend.
The Frederick News-Post ( http://tinyurl.com/8kkrdfz) reports the Tough Mudder competition will held Saturday and Sunday at Crumland Farm. The 12-mile challenge includes military-style obstacles, greased-up monkey bars and a run through 4-foot-high flames.
The competition benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps assist severely injured veterans.
Ashley Fallick, a media representative for the event, says the event is expected to attract 27,000 people.
