FREDERICK, Md. - The Jeanne Bussard Center, a nonprofit that provided employment opportunities for people experiencing disabilities, has been placed in receivership.
A Frederick County Circuit judge granted Maryland's request for receivership on Monday. A lawyer on the center's behalf was not present.
Invotex Group is taking over the center on behalf of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Developmental Disabilities Administration. Invotex has 30 days to file an initial report.
