Saturday - 4/21/2012, 9:41pm  ET

FREDERICK, Md. - Police in Frederick say they've arrested a man who crashed his car into a home and then attempted to leave the scene of the crash.

The Frederick News-Post ( http://bit.ly/I3othb) reports police responded to the crash Saturday morning around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived in the 400 block of Carrollton Drive they were told the driver had fled the scene.

But police soon found the driver, Frederick resident Devante Dayton Williams, and arrested him. The 20-year-old has been charged him with driving under the influence and other charges.

The owners of the home were allowed back inside after a building inspector deemed it safe. Police did not say how much damage the crash caused.
