WASHINGTON — Thursday was Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day and several WTOP staffers brought their kids in to check out the studio.

Throughout the day, you can even hear them on the air, helping WTOP voice some programming.

The idea behind the special day is to expose girls and boys to a parent or mentor and show them the value of education, helping them discover a balanced work and family life.

Check out the gallery on the right to see some of their adventures and learn more about the movement by clicking here.
