WASHINGTON - A predator attacking cats and dogs in Indiana appears to have been spotted.
WDRB News says after a number of attacks on domestic animals in in the Charlestown area, a woman and her boyfriend reportedly took turns keeping watch from the roof at night.
The woman's friend, Donna Duke, relayed that when her friend was outside one night near the pool, the boyfriend shot a dark, shadowy figure. They claim to have found the feline in the video below, and Duke says the body was taken by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, where it apparently has been tentatively identified as a young leopard.
The big cat may have been someone's pet, but it's not clear where it came from, WDRB reports. A wildlife refuge is located near where the cat was located, but the refuge's owner says the feline is not his.
