WASHINGTON – Remember when interning meant getting people coffee or sorting through mail?
At the Weather Channel, interns get to do a lot more than just file papers. They get to make them fly with their very own Twitter-powered tornado in honor of Tornado Week.
Every tweet with the hashtag #TornadoWeek boosts winds inside the office. When the interns get one million mentions, the wind will get turned up “for a full blown EF-5 tornado” inside the Weather Channel headquarters.
